Slit Tube Anchor Details
Slit Tube Anchor is a new type of anchor used for perimeter rock support, which realizes full-length anchoring by installing high-strength steel tubes with longitudinal slits in the drilled holes. The anchor can prevent the surrounding rock from sliding while applying radial pressure and friction, supplemented by the support of the anchorage force tray, so that the surrounding rock is subjected to three-way force to ensure the stability of the surrounding rock. Compared to the rising shell anchor, the slit-tube anchor is considered to have better technical characteristics because of its ability to increase the anchoring force in the presence of blasting vibrations and rock displacement, and to maintain the support resistance even when the surrounding rock is significantly displaced.
The technical requirements of sewing tube anchor include the following points:
1. Ensure that the surface of the sewing tube anchor rod is smooth, without obvious damage, corrosion or weld cracks, and there shall be no air holes, slag entrapment or burn-through phenomenon. The pallet should be able to move freely on the rod, and the misalignment angle between the retaining ring interface and the opening of the sewing pipe is suitably set between 1700-1900.
2. the retaining ring weld should have a pull-off force ≥80kN, while the ultimate tensile force of the anchor rod body should reach or exceed 110kN. the initial anchoring force should be greater than or equal to 25kN/m, while the bearing capacity of the pallet should be more than 65kN.
Precautions for installation of sewing tube anchor:
1、Before loading anchoring medicine roll, first insert the anchor into the hole to test the depth of the anchor eye, to see whether the depth of the hole meets the requirements, if the depth is not enough, the eye should be re-drilled to meet the requirements until.
2、Installation, firstly, load the anchoring rolls into the eye according to the specified quantity (use 2 rolls), and then insert the anchor rod. At this time, set up the connecting sleeve, insert the wind anchor, start the wind anchor to rotate, slowly advance to the bottom of the eye, stir 20s, stop drilling, remove the wind anchor, wait for 5min before removing the connecting sleeve. 20min later, put on the pallet, tighten the nut with a wrench.
3、The pallet should be tightly attached to the rock wall, if the rock wall is not flat, use handaxe to level it first, and then install it.
4、Its anchoring force shall not be less than 50KN/root.
